Pharmacy Unit

The Pharmacy Unit is an integral part of the patient care provided by the institution. The unit is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical services to the hospital. These services include medicine dispensing and reconciliation, drug information to clinicians and patients, patient counselling among others. The unit is made up of four (4) Pharmacists including one Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, 9 Pharmacy Technicians and 9 Pharmacy Assistants. The unit has four pharmacy outlets; Main /OPD Pharmacy, In-patient Pharmacy, ART Pharmacy and Pharmacy Annex.
